Description
Square Edge Triple Box Groove MDF Skirting Board – Contemporary Style with Refined Detailing
Introduce clean lines and distinctive detailing to your interior with our Square Edge Triple Box Groove MDF Skirting Board. Combining a straight, square-cut top edge with three recessed horizontal grooves, this contemporary profile adds depth and character without appearing overly decorative. Its structured appearance makes it an attractive choice for modern homes, stylish renovations and coordinated interior design.
The three parallel grooves create crisp shadow lines across the front face, giving the skirting a layered appearance while retaining a simple, geometric shape. This triple groove skirting board offers more decorative definition than single or double groove profiles, making it an excellent alternative to traditional curved mouldings and completely plain skirting boards.
Whether you’re updating a modern property or renovating an older home, this square edge skirting board works well in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, dining rooms and home offices. Its straight-edged design complements contemporary doors, minimalist architraves and clean interior finishes, helping you achieve a coordinated appearance throughout your property.
Each board is manufactured from 18mm smooth MDF and precision CNC-machined in our UK workshop. The profile features a flat square top edge with three straight horizontal box grooves routed into the front surface. Careful machining produces consistent detailing along the length of each board, giving the finished skirting a neat, uniform appearance.
Our Square Edge Triple Box Groove MDF Skirting Board is supplied unfinished, allowing you to prepare, prime and paint it to suit your chosen interior colour scheme. Classic white creates a fresh, timeless appearance, while warm neutrals, soft greys and deeper colours can complement contemporary décor. The three recessed grooves create subtle shadows that remain visible across a variety of painted finishes.
Every board is supplied in 2400mm lengths and available in five heights: 120mm, 145mm, 170mm, 195mm and 220mm. Each variation features the same 18mm MDF construction, straight square top edge and three recessed horizontal grooves, allowing you to select a height that complements your room without compromising the overall design.
Choosing the right skirting height can make a noticeable difference to your interior. Lower profiles offer a discreet finish in smaller spaces, while taller boards create a stronger visual feature, particularly in rooms with higher ceilings. This triple box groove MDF skirting board maintains its decorative character across the full range of available heights.
The square-edge triple-groove design is also an excellent option when decorating multiple rooms. Its clean lines coordinate with a variety of flooring materials, furniture styles and wall colours, while the additional groove detailing introduces a little more visual interest. This makes it particularly suitable for homeowners wanting consistent woodwork throughout their property.
